Hopefully members and those people on our mailing list will have received our December newsletter by now. It’s full of interesting stuff (though we say it ourselves!), including information about a book just published by one of our members, George Currie. Kafka on the Tyne was recently reviewed in the Journal. Of the book George tells us: “Through the use of realities and dream sequences travelling through time and space, together with original documents and the world of literature itself I found all this the best way to express my life as being the comedy of life without the comedy”. Of course, many writers find the Lit & Phil the ideal place to think, research, and write…Sheree Mack, Janet MacLeod Trotter, David Almond all spring to mind….and there are many more…..
