Put up the Bunting!

Today is day one of three days of tours and events as part of Heritage Open Days. We wouldn’t be able to offer so many tours if it wasn’t for our band of knowlegeable volunteers, so many thanks to them.

The great  thing about giving tours of the Lit & Phil is that everyone has their favourite anecdote to tell: is it the Eygptian Mummy, the arrival of the Wombat (preserved) from New South Wales, Lord Armstrong climbing in through the window of the lecture theatre, or the ghost in the Silence Room……..

Amongst the paraphernalia sent to us by the HOD organisers was a string of charming pink and white bunting – but where to put it, that’s the question……..
